Send Animated GIFs Through Messenger

Sometimes adding an animated GIF to a conversation makes it more entertaining. There is an option to add an animated GIF through Messenger by tapping on the + button and scrolling over to the "GIFs" button on the top menu.

From there, you can select from trending GIFs or search for a GIF in the search box as you scroll horizontally. Then tap on the GIF that you want to send.

Send a GIF in Facebook Messenger

For a while now Facebook Messenger has had a dedicated GIF button in the Facebook Messenger app, which allows you to use images from outlets like Giphy and Riffsy.

    - Open a Facebook Messenger chat and tap the GIF icon.

    - Scroll through the GIFs and tap twice on the image you want to send.

    - The GIF will appear in the chat and automatically play on a loop.
